What inspired you to tell this story through the eyes of Greece's youth/children? What makes them unique and what can they tell us about the state of the crisis?

I noticed the abandoned state of the Olympic Park played a determining role in multiple scenes of the film, such as the mock race out on the track, or as a recreation space for Dimitri by the drained pool. Why use this space for the film, and what did you intend it to portray?

[With the previous question in mind]: There are references to the Homeric/ideal Greek man of antiquity in the piece, including the highlighting of the boys' young bodies in the shower, and the laurel leaf crown given to the race track victor. Are your young characters aware of these allusions and their historical significance, and what do they mean to them in the context of the film?

The sexual scene between Anna and Dimitri exhibits multiple inner conflicts and hesitations within the characters, a confused sense of expectation in performance strewn throughout. Does this scene represent blurred notions of gender identity/norms within the characters, and if so, do you think they would have been different before the crisis?

From the boys and their euphoric shower in the fragmented locker room, to Dimitri and his employer in the marble yard, both as a communal space or for revenge in the stealing of clothes, multiple scenes showcase showering. The Dog Ari was an influential character of friendship to both Dimitri and the young boy who followed him, especially seeing as such a genuine bond seemed to lack within the relationships of many of the characters. What did you intend the death of Ari to represent?
